| Our open frame models are for applications where underneath lighting is required. Some customers also use the open frame stage for positioning a lens or objective from underneath or if the ability to inspect a sample from both sides is required. If motors are not needed this stage can be supplied with manual co-axial control knobs. Open frame measuring stages are built to the same exacting tolerances of all our measuring stages and come in standard sizes of 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 12x12, and 15x15. Custom sizes are also available.
